Connie Settlemoir

A licensed CPA since 1995, Connie began her professional accounting career in her native state of Missouri, working in the corporate for-profit sector. She spent several years in the hotel and hospitality industry before transitioning into manufacturing, where she quickly advanced into financial leadership roles.
Connie and her husband, Dennis, relocated to Texas in 1999 and, following the birth of their second daughter in 2000, Connie began volunteering for a local ministry while launching her own CPA firm, specializing in public accounting, tax, and small-business advisory services. Her growing passion for nonprofits and small businesses led her to accept dual financial director roles at Mi Escuelita, a nonprofit English-immersion preschool, and Panatela Insurance Group, her husband’s independent insurance brokerage.
While she continues to serve a select group of small-business clients through her firm, Connie dedicates most of her professional time to fractional leadership roles at Panatela and Mi Escuelita.
Happily married for 32 years, Connie and Dennis reside in Bedford, TX, with their 12-year-old Chihuahua, Pita, and 1-year-old Dalmatian, Dan. In her free time, Connie enjoys crocheting, quilting, camping with Dennis, and spending time with their daughters, Ellen and Clair
